Our Little City...
Is starting to look more like a city than a construction site! We have a train station, an ice cream shop, a submarine, and a book store, to name just a few of the completed Imagination Stations! There is still a lot of work to be done, but next week we start on the Museum of Natural History.

Opening in March, 2010
Little City Kids is well on its way to becoming a reality in California! With permits in place and construction under way, we are now purchasing furnishings and even toys, and starting to hire staff.
The archways have been cut in the Tuscan countryside, otherwise known as the toddler farm. The plumbing is in place, and has passed inspection. The walls are up in the offices, and much of the framing is in place throughout the space. Drywalling should start happening this week!
Our first set of play centers, the Country Junction, looks very much like a city now, although there are lots of details and a lot of paint to be applied! But you can start to see how this will in fact be a city for children in no time.
And speaking of children, we are starting to take pre-enrollments! We have room for only 12 infants and 18 one-year olds, and then 76 preschoolers. If you would like to receive an enrollment package, or get more information, email the director here!

Serious progress over the past week. The walls are all done and in place, and the paint is going up.
Rebecca's Riding Stable arrived, and it is cute as can be. It will be fully installed later this week, after the painting is completed.
The water table and all of our fabulous concrete sinks were delivered yesterday. They should be installed next week, after the tile s complete.
The mosaic for the water complex is progressing nicely...
and quickly...
and should be installed next week!
And finally, our gnome house was delivered. It turned out absolutely beautiful. But not safe to play on.... and it had to go back. Now we face a last minute design decision...
